Ranging reporter J.R. Ortega talked with people at Ramsey's Restaurant about what they think about the homeless situation in Victoria.
Is it a situation, or isn't it?
Sonny Long will be a reporting a story in Friday's Advocate about the homeless count.
Here is what they had to say:
"I see people walking around as always, like Pepper."
David Hudson, Victoria, plant operator
"I feel there are and I feel it's growing. I think they need to build another Salvation Army."
John Martinez, Victoria, owner of L&M Plumbing
"I don't see them around and I don't go out often."
John Williams, Port O'Connor, commercial fisherman
"I suggest to have more shelters for them. Our homeless problem isn't as big as in other cities."
A.R. Wearden, Victoria, retired
