This week has been fairly productive. I've had several centerpiece stories and I'm working on one more for tomorrow on childhood obesity. What do you think the frequency of childhood obesity is in the Crossroads? I have been trying to get some hard local stats but those have been difficult to come by.

One pediatrician in the area has commented that "obesity is running rampant." She says a lot of it stems from lack of education. I have had others tell me it is simply more convenient to eat bad with drive thrus and fast food joints on every corner.

What are your reasons behind the growing rate of obese children? How can we reverse this unhealthy trend?
