  • Observer...BINGO

Second thought...why does a doctor need to tell parents what & how to feed their children? That is common sense, chocolate, candy, junk food = bad. Copy the food pyramid & hand it out when the people check in, give them something to read & learn while they wait.

  • Until Medicare and the insurance companies who take their lead from Medicare are willing to address the ridiculous payment rates for primary care physicians, there will be little change. The system currently in use overpays specialists and underpays primary care physicians. It is not that doctors do not WANT to spend more time with their patients, it is that they cannot afford to do so.

  • My thoughts are: the first sentence to your blog is obvious, and should go without saying.

But, sadly, I think some doctors need to hear that, REALLY hear that.

I'm tired of being processed like a head of cattle when I go to the doctor's office. I don't know which I dread more: going to the physician or to the airport.

Pretty much a dead heat tie.

By the way, Dr. Sachdev is an EXCELLENT doctor. She knows what she's talking about. She has a thing or ten she can teach other docs.
