  • I received a kindle touch for christmas. It does everything i want it to do. I think they are going for around $99. another $35 for the case. Think it was bought at Best Buy. If you get a plus, get a case for Kindle plus. One size doesnt fit all the Kindle family. I havent purchased any e-books from Amazon yet as the Victoria Public Library has enough free e- books that will keep me reading for a very long time. Its pretty simple to operate. Battery life seems adequate. Read nine books since christmas and had to charge the battery once. So im saying a Kindle Plus would be a good choice for you. It works for me.

  • Now I am going to wait and see what you buy... You have the same thoughts as I do. Other than looking at one online, I didn't draw any conclusions. Being honest, I don't know exactly how the whole thing works. Techy, I ain't!
I like the concept. I have a friend, an avid reader (4-6 books a month). He loves his- everytime I see him he has a different one. His wife swiped one, and I think his kids got one or two. I know the last one or two were Kindle, I don't know which model.
