  • Be accountable, work for what you want, don't expect handouts, as a Democrat Pres. said a few years back:
" Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"...
    Just sayin...

  • thats what happens when parents quit raising their children to respect others or themselves. How is the IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD mentality working out for you?? The liberal idea that nobody is held accountable for their lack of personal responsibilty for their actions and dependency on big brother for everything through FREE HANDOUTS has destroyed the very fabric of american society and the work ethic held high by our ancestors. We now live in a country happy to reward laziness with a welfare check and food stamps, and criminal behavior that is blamed on unfair police targeting of minorities when it is the fault of the parents who neglect their duty to raise children that have respect for others and fail to see that their kids finish school so they can get a good paying job. Until this attitude that the world owes me a living is changed to one that supports being a productive part of society and self supporting we will never see the light of day or the end of enormous entitlement programs that enslave the poor to a WE KNOW WHATS BEST FOR YOU socialist government that is spending us into bankruptcy.

  • Reminds me of what I heard about the 50's & 60's. All of those beatnick hippies, and their music, were the bane of society and would lead to the downfall of America. Some pretty good people came out of all of that.
It's just a fad, mostly. Those kids will grow out of that in time.

  • uforreal. "A bunch of thuggy looking people."

Your showing your age and are sounding quite intolerant. LOL. What you are seeing is what our society and today's culture is gravitating towards. Too many of us have lost respect for ourselves and others. We in the USA seem to slowly, but steadily, sliding down a slope we may not be able to crawl back up. There is one way up that most of us refuse to pursue.
