  • Alton,

Those are shocking stories. Would you be interested in writing a guest column or speaking with Gabe for his ongoing series? Thanks for commenting.

  • I wonder how many American citizens have had a negative event in their lives from illegal aliens.  The first negative event in my life was when a drunk illegal alien killed my 21 old cousin by driving down the wrong way on a freeway.  The illegal alien's punishment for deportation.  Illegal aliens forced their way into my elderly aunt's home, beating her and selling everything of value.  A gang of illegal aliens beat up my 14 year grandson a few years ago while he was at a city park.  If the law enforcement officers had not arrived in time he may have been killed.  The shoe print of one of his attackers was bruised into his face.  Cracked ribs, bruises, and head injuries that last for months.
I believe many others have had negative events in their lives also, and many of them are not reported because little is done to solve the problem.

  • I haved enjoyed the past few weeks stories...they are informative & allows us a view of life in the bordertowns & our local region.  It makes us all more aware of what we are contending with.  I wish Gabe the best as he ventures into Laredo & Nuevo Laredo, those towns are not nearly as nice & safe as where he has been.  Be careful & stay safe!
