    Thanks for the kind words. I have a healthy respect for single parents who try to get their kids involved in activities. I'm lucky to have a co-chauffeur. (And don't remind me that the kids will want to drive soon -- I need my sleep.)

  • Congratulations! You are "soccer parents"! You are making a fine balancing act with respect to the many activities your children are enjoying. The answer is different for every child. We do these things for their happiness. Enjoy the chauffers job while you can. When they start driving themselves everywhere you may feel left out.
    In any case you are doing a great parenting job. There are many parents who either don't have the time or simply won't give their children the time and attention they need.
