• Thanks for sharing your memories. When you hear a great song and you can't get out of your car even though you've arrived at your destination, my little sister says you're rock-uppied.
I recall that happening to me in college when I arrived at the dorm while listening for the first time to Bruce Springsteen's "The River." I sat there in silent awe of his talent.

  • I was in the 7th or 8th grade, out on the farm with my first transistor radio listening to KTSA out of San Antonio. The first song I heard was Michael Martin Murphy's "Wildfire". It is still one of my favorite songs. I even got to dance with MMM here in Victoria several years back at the Bluebonnet.

  • Wether it is the artist's intention or not, a good song can touch our hearts and souls like nothing else. That YTvid is great! The song is memorable and moving.

There are many songs that I can recall hearing for the first time. Many moved me to add CDs to my collection. Songs are like signposts along the road that is my life. They are the markers for where I have been and they are freely intertwined with strong memories.
