As our children get older, we tend to spend more trips visiting relatives.
Our family of four is in Omaha this week visiting Paula's sister and her family. You can't beat the sights and sounds of five cousins playing and laughing.
Along the way here and back, we stop in Tulsa, where my older sister and her family live. I've found Twitter synched to my Facebook status to be a handy way to keep other family and friends posted about our travels. I've been impressed by how many people have commented about our trip so far via Twitter or Facebook.

Vacation isn't until October. We're going to the Ozarks and Smokey's to enjoy the fall foliage. We're looking forward to going back to one of our favorite places in the country...Cade's Cove, Tennesee in the heart of the Smoky Mountain National Park.

We're going to the Omaha zoo on Monday. I have been before, and I agree it has to be one of the top zoos in the country.
July 5, 2009 at 9:13 a.m.Chris the one time I went to Omaha it was 110 degrees! Did you go to the Omaha zoo? I was suppose to but ended up not going-because it was so hot. It is suppose to be one of the best zoos in the country.I'm going to week to spend at least a couple of weeks in beautiful Sonoma county, California in the Russian river area for my vacation. I'm driving up there tuesday.
