For those looking for bargains, I want to introduce to you a new feature on our site -- printable coupons.
Just go to VictoriaAdvocate.com/coupons and you'll find several pages of deals ready to print and go.
Personally, I want to try the $1.50 off the Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats. Let us know how you like this new service.
This post isn't about journalism, of course, but we recognize plenty of people also read the paper for the advertising. And everyone wants a good deal.
While you're looking at the ads, we hope you find a news story of interest, too.

justamom,
I printed 3 coupons from the Advocate site and one from HEB.com and the local HEB accepted all 4 coupons without question.
Will find out about WalMart and Target this weekend.
October 16, 2009 at 12:49 p.m.Just a mom,
I'll check with our advertising department an answer to the problem you've experienced. Thanks for letting us know.
October 13, 2009 at 8:40 p.m.Mr. Cobler- Just FYI, I have used printable coupons many times, however, the HEB's here will not take the print outs from the computer. I have asked many times because I print straight from the manufactures website. For some reason it is a no go. I don't know about Wal Mart or Target though.
October 13, 2009 at 1:37 p.m.Thanks VicAd and Mr. Cobler. I will peruse the coupons right now although more than likely, I'll accidentally leave them in the car next to the green shopping bags!
