  • Hello Chris... I hope that retired person you spoke with understands that neglecting work is not a characteristic exclusive to the younger generation. I'm 46, and I work around plenty older folks who should know better when it comes to good work ethics. I try to be a good example, and succeed most of the time. I'm often met with defiance and indifference, both of which, again, are common amongst all age groups, I think.

    I don't let them discourage me - not for long, anyway. I am sometimes fortunate enough to have a few experienced comrades at my side who gladly give me a supportive hand.
    Support comes in all ages, as well.
