Victoria's Lighted Christmas Parade rates up there with any put on by similarly sized cities. The hometown feel, warm weather and colorful lights make for a fun evening.

If you want to see your favorite parade entry again, try searching through Advocate photo editor Frank Tilley's online album. There, he has posted about 75 images from the parade. We couldn't fit quite that many into Sunday's edition, but you can re-live the parade by clicking on the link in my blog.

We also encourage you to share your photos of the parade and of Christmas decorations around the Crossroads on our site. Just upload your favorite images to "Your Photos" on our our home page. While there, vote on your favorite Christmas photos posted there.

My personal photos didn't turn out nearly as well as Frank's, of course. I did shoot quite a few video clips at the parade. Unfortunately, the ability to embed YouTube videos in blogs is a temporary casualty of our latest site upgrade. We expect to have that ability restored soon. In the meantime, you can see my parade clips on my YouTube channel.

Many thanks to all of the volunteers and to the city parks and recreation department for another successful parade. I look forward to next year when the parade will move back to downtown.
