The nomination period for the Victoria Advocate’s annual Best of the Best contest starts Monday.
Nominate the people and companies that deserve to be named the Best of the Best in the seven-county region at the VictoriaAdvocate.com.
There are more than 120 subcategories this year, which includes Best Breakfast Taco, Best Dance School, Best Attorney and Best Nail Salon.
The Victoria Advocate wants to hear from readers where to find the Best of the Best. People can submit their nominations Dec. 3-21.
Voting for the 2019 Best of the Best competition is scheduled to start Jan. 7 and runs through Jan. 31. Crossroads residents will be invited to vote once every 24 hours.
The special contest is scheduled to publish April 28 and will be available as part of the Sunday newspaper.
“The reader response to last year’s Best of the Best was overwhelming, and it was inspiring to see how passionate the residents of the Crossroads could be despite everything that they’d went through just three months earlier,” said digital sales integration manager Amory Gritta.
“I hope the streamlining we’ve been working on for the nominations and voting will encourage even more residents to show their appreciation for their favorites this year,” he said.
