LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Texas Lutheran University’s Courtnee Priour and Tia Hart earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference awards, the league announced Wednesday.

Priour, a senior Goliad graduate, was named the conference’s Women’s Field Athlete of the Year.

Hart, a freshman Industrial graduate, was selected as the Women’s Track & Field Newcomer of the Year.

Priour won the triple jump at this year’s conference meet and finished second in the long jump.

Hart won the conference championship in the javelin and finished fifth in the shot put.
