Generals game

The Victoria Generals scored four runs in the third inning and went on to a 10-2 win over the Texarkana Twins on Monday night at Riverside Stadium.

Derek Serbantez got the Generals' off to a good start with a three-run home run in the first inning.

The Generals' had five hits in the third inning, including an RBI double by Kyle Moos and RBI singles by Reese Johnson and Justin Barr.

The Generals turned the game into a rout when they added three runs in the eighth.

Serbanetz, Moos, Johnson and Barr each had two of the Generals' 12 hits.

Five Generals' pitchers limited the Twins, who won Sunday night's game 7-6, to three hits.

Starter Aaron Gonzalez yielded on run on two hits in four innings. Reliever Max Page picked up the win with an inning of hitless relief.

The Generals return to Riverside Stadium at 7:05 p.m. Thursday against the Brazos Valley Bombers.
