It is absolutely essential that this community finds a way to offer a competitive alternative to Suddenlink internet service. Since Altice bought Suddenlink, service is horrible and no one at Suddenlink will respond constructively to any issue. I concede that Suddenlink’s speeds are the best available, at least in my area of Victoria, but that is its only advantage at this point. Please, leadership and competitors, move on this ASAP.

For rating info on potential service providers check out https://www.usnews.com/360-reviews/internet-providers. Also, TISD, a local provider, has been steadily growing and improving over the years and might be worth a look. One of satellite's major drawbacks is that there's no trial period. Once you sign the 2-year contract you're on the hook whether it works for you or not.
