Keep calm, "Destiny 2" won't be gone for too long

If you're really big into playing "Destiny 2," then you may want to sit down, although you might be already because you're likely playing. 

The "Destiny 2" server will be going down for maintenance for about five hours, starting at 10 a.m. EST (That's 9 a.m. for us Central Standard Time folks).

Good news is if you're off at work, you'l likely not notice the downtime. 

The maintenance is Hotfix, and we're still unsure what the maintenance updates will include, as the patch notes are not available just yet. You can follow more about what the maintenance update is here.

@DMG04, who is with Destiny Player Support at Bungie, said on Twitter on Dec. 29 that the fix will "address issues related to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies access."
