A 14-day camp for high school students highlighting project-based learning through a supportive, collaborative and engaging environment.

STEAM Power will provide students ages 14-17 an opportunity for inquiry, dialogue and critical thinking while exploring science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. The camp, which is free of charge, will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, from June 10 to July 2.

"STEAM Power has replaced the summer camp formerly known as TexPREP," said Sabrina Romo, Victoria College's pre-college programs and recruitment director. "The camp will be held entirely at VC's Main Campus."

Application for the program, which is funded by the Texas Workforce Commission's Governor's Summer Merit Grant, will open on March 1. The camp can facilitate a maximum of 35 students. The deadline to apply is April 15. Applications are available at VictoriaCollege.edu/PreCollegePrograms.
