Bluhm 50Th Anniversary


Melvin and Diana Bluhm recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance at St. Mary's Activity Center in Victoria hosted by their children.Melvin Bluhm and Diana Hoffer were married on October 7th, 1966 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Wallis J. Stiles officiating. The couple have a daughter Lona, engaged to Tommy Beard, and a son, Douglas and wife Sherri, all of Victoria. Grandchildren are Mason and Kaley Hall and Holland and Presley Bluhm. Melvin retired from DuPont in 1998 after 32 years of service. Diana worked part-time for DeTar Hospital as an LVN. Melvin and Diana currently enjoy spending time with their family, watching their grandchildren play sports, and taking an occasional trip to Coushatta, Louisiana.
