FRANZ 100TH BIRTHDAY Emma Lucy Franz was born in Yorktown, Tx on December 13, 1918 to the late Willie and Caroline Mareth. She married Floyd C. Franz on November 12, 1940 and had 4 children: Elizabeth Nell (Robert Charbula deceased), LaVernia June "Sissie" (deceased)(Ronnie Charbula deceased), Floyd "Buddy" Franz (Karen), and Billie Genelle (Charlie Kucera). She has 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Her children, grandchildren, and spouses hosted a 100 year Birthday Celebration with family and friends at Emmanuel Lutheran Parish Hall in Inez on December 22, 2018. Emma is still active in her garden (but not as much as she used to) and loves to crack and peel pecans, and occasionally works on jigsaw puzzles. Emma has lived a blessed life and is loved and admired by her family and friends. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEEMAW!
