Jessica Anger and James Fitch, both of Houston, were married at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Pat Knippenberg officiated the double-ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of John Paul and Lisa Anger of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of Jackie Anger Tanner and the late Leo Anger of Victoria, and Allen and Ann Brown of Victoria.The groom is the son of James and Cathy Fitch of Texas City. He is the grandson of the late Lou and James Fitch of Texas City and the late Helen and Mitchell Chuoke of Texas City.Grayleigh Oppermann of Cypress attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Gennie Fox of Houston, Ashlyn Baker of Friendswood, Hannah English of Houston, Jenna Einem of Austin, Alicia Lesak of Victoria, Shaela Yeager of Fort Worth and Nyomi Jourdan of Houston.Groomsmen were Matt Harris of Dickinson, Eric Ray of Austin, John Anger of Houston, Dan Braun of Houston, Justin Laird of Houston, Mitchell Chuoke of Texas City, Jason Kainer of Houston, Matt Schirmer of Houston, John Saldi of Houston, Ted Baker of Friendswood, Barry Laird of San Antonio, and Ashley Subingsubing of Los Angeles, California.Jessica is a 2004 graduate of St. Joseph High School. She is a 2008 graduate from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a 2012 graduate from the University of Houston with a Master of Education in Psychology. She is employed by MedInc of Texas, a distributor of Arthrex, as a medical device sales representative.James is a 2001 graduate of Texas City High School. He is a 2006 graduate from the University of Houston where he played football. James graduated from the Bauer Business school with a dual major in Management and Marketing. James is Senior Vice President of Braun Enterprises, a commercial real estate company.The couple will reside in Houston.
