Lisa Buckler and Jason Schneider, both of Victoria, were married at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral in Victoria. Fr. Gary Janak officiated the double-ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Gary and Lynette Buckler of Victoria. She is the granddaughter of the late Leslie and Beatrice Mueller (Victoria) and the late Raymond and Frances Buckler (Victoria).The groom is the son of Portia Schneider and the late David Schneider of Victoria. He is the grandson of the late John Hosek and the late Grace Deaville (Victoria) and the late Albert and Evelyn Schneider (Yoakum).Chelsy Cleary, of Pipe Creek, attended as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Sherri Kickendahl (sister of the bride), of Victoria, Kim Fleener (sister of the bride), of Victoria, Michelle Albrecht, of San Antonio, and Amanda Kern (sister of the groom), of Victoria.Casey Kucera, of Victoria, attended as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Lang, of Lorena, Mark Mueller, of Victoria, Jared Buckler (brother of the bride), of Houston, and Waylon Kern (brother-in-law of the groom), of Victoria.Blake Kern (nephew of the groom), Cooper Kickendahl (nephew of the bride), and Cullen Kickendahl (nephew of the bride), all of Victoria, served as ring bearers.A reception followed at Soiree in downtown Victoria.After their honeymoon trip to the Maldives, the couple will reside in Victoria.Lisa is a graduate of Memorial High School and a graduate of Texas State University with a BBA in Finance. She is employed by Frost Bank as an internal bank examiner.Jason is a graduate of Stroman High School and a graduate of Texas State University with a BS in Biology. He works for Waste Management as a project manager at Caterpillar, Inc.
