Alina Renee Magallan and Joshua Rene Valenzuela, both of Victoria, were married on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Victoria. Fr. Dominic Antwi-Boasiako, of Victoria, officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jane Magallan of Victoria and the late Jesse Magallan. She is the granddaughter of Guadalupe Rivera and the late Frank Ramirez, Sr.
The groom is the son of Richard and Veronica Valenzuela of Victoria. He is the grandson of Ricardo "Popo" Valenzuela.
Steven Palacios of Victoria, attended as man-of-honor. Mary Jane Rodriguez of Victoria, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Devon Bennett of Victoria, Liz Parker of Victoria, Ashley Valenzuela of Victoria, and Jennifer Magallan of Katy. Gabrielle Martinez of Fresno, and Ava and Zoe Magallan of Katy, served as flower girls.
Zachary Valenzuela of Victoria, attended as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Urbano, Adrian Williams, Jayce Serrano, Rick Alvarado, and Ector Rodriguez, all of Victoria. Gage Martinez of Fresno, served as ring bearer.
Ushers were Mike Mikulenka of Victoria, Phillip Valenzuela of Victoria, and Tyler Valenzuela of San Antonio.
A reception was held at Club Westerner.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Memorial High School. She is a studio partner of South Texas Strutters.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Memorial High School. He is a parts salesman for Performance Trucks and co-founder of Baseball Fanatics select team.
After a honeymoon trip to Playa Del Carmen, the couple will reside in Victoria.
