MATSON-EDGE Charlsa Matson, of Austin, and Matthew Edge, of Victoria, were married on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Northside Baptist Church in Victoria. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Chuck Matson. And the double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Mickey Ewing. The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Kenda Matson of Victoria. She is a 2014 graduate of Victoria West High School, a 2018 graduate of Texas State University, and is studying speech-language pathology at the University of Texas at Austin. The groom is the son of David and Pamela Edge of Victoria. He is a 2015 graduate of Victoria East High School and a 2018 graduate of University of Houston- Victoria. Bridesmaids: Megan Edge of Austin, Addie Griffith of Houston, and Savannah Tracy of League City. Sofia Scheerer of Manhattan, KS, attended as flower girl. Groomsmen: Keefe Matson of Fort Meade, MD, Andrew McCleskey of Victoria, and Austin Smolik of College Station. David Scheerer, Daniel Scheerer, and Dylan Scheerer, all of Manhattan, KS, served as ring bearers. Music for the ceremony was provided by Connie Ewing, on piano, and vocals sung by Howard and Kristi McCleskey. House Party: Bridget Clapp of Austin, Bethany Clapp of San Antonio, and Sydney Scheerer of Manhattan, KS. After a cruise to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica, the couple will reside in Austin.
