As part of a statewide effort to strengthen rural communities across the state, Capital Farm Credit has granted funding to farmers markets across Texas.

The Victoria Farmers Market was awarded a $1,000 Farmers Market Grant from Capital Farm Credit’s Edna branch office.

This year, Capital Farm Credit awarded grants totaling $26,000 to qualifying farmers markets. Each grant recipient got a check for $1,000 and 200 reusable shopping bags, an added in-kind value of $300.
