Two Victoria men are facing burglary charges after an early Sunday morning traffic stop conducted by the Victoria Police Department.

Jontae Ray Sean Kitchens, 25, and Sullivan John Steen, 26, were both charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation with an intent to commit another felony after officers conducted a traffic stop at 4:49 a.m. Sunday on a Silver Nissan, according to a police department news release.

A preliminary investigation determined that Kitchens and Steen are suspected are in two residential burglaries in the 900 block of Loma Vista and 2100 block of Levi Street, the news release states.

During the burglary on Levi Street, a 53-year-old Victoria man was transferred to a local hospital after suffering injuries.
