Cy Cole & JB Mauney

Cy Cole & JB Mauney visiting inside the South Point Casino & Resort, Las Vegas, before the MBR & PBR World Finals Bull Riding Event.

Cy Cole, a 5th grader from Schorlemmer Elementary and member of the Branded Cowboy Church, has returned to his hometown ranked as the #5 World Champion. Attending the Chris Shivers Mini Bull Riding (MBR) World Finals held in Las Vegas, Nevada last week was no easy task for Cy.  “These bulls are rank and I try to hold on as best as I can”. With PBR legends such as JB Mauney, Chris Shivers, Mike Lee, Ezekiel Mitchell, and Chase Outlaw helping behind the bucking chutes, Cy feels like he is one of the pros. “I like when they help us because we try harder when they are watching us”. This Champions bull riding career doesn’t stop here.  Cy is on his way back to Las Vegas in December during the NFR to compete in the International Mini Bull Association (IMBA) World Finals.  “I hope to win the #1 spot this time, but if I can’t, I hope to at least be Top 5 again because I want another buckle”.
