CUERO - Interest in Cuero's chupacabra continues to grow, nine months after its discovery. The History Channel is in town to shoot footage for its series, MonsterQuest, said Phylis Canion, on whose property the part coyote, part Mexican wolf was found in July.

The series, according to The History Channel Web site, is "one part history, one part science and one part monsters. MonsterQuest discovers the truth behind these legendary monsters. "
