Census Blitz makes one last push for return of Census forms

Although Census day has passed, one final event, the Census Blitz hopes to answer any questions or concerns.
It will be the final public census event, said O.C. Garza, head of the Victoria Census Committee.
Garza recently talked about the importance of completing the census form and what is planned at the blitz.
Q: Why is it important to fill out the Census?
A: A census really does pay back a community. It pays them back in funding for various items.
Q: Why the Census Blitz?
A: Just to get people in the area at ease - there's no real secretive information. It's also a thanks to the community for a great response rate since the beginning.
Q: What will the event consist of?
A: People can get assistance or pick up a form if they did not receive one at home, but there will also be census giveaways, music, popcorn and drinks.
Q: Will other organizations be present?
A: 211, Community Action committee, Star Family Services. These are also some of the organizations that will rely on funding depending on the census count.
