Two children were injured in a Tuesday evening wreck on Navarro Street near Park Avenue.
Around 4:10 p.m., a white Mazda 6 and a silver Chevrolet Cavalier were traveling south in the 2100 block of Navarro Street.
The Mazda's driver, Kenneth Pruett, 39, of Victoria, said he abruptly stopped because the truck in front of him stopped. This is when he was rear-ended by the Chevrolet.
The Chevrolet's driver, Sarah Weaver, 23, of Victoria, said she was on her way home from work when the accident happened.
Pruett was traveling with his wife, Jamie, and their three children, aged 8,10 and 14.
Victoria Police Officer Lucas Thompson said everyone involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts and no one was taken to the hospital.
However, Pruett's younger two children complained of shoulder and back pain.
Weaver was found at fault for the accident for failure to control speed, but Thompson said she was not ticketed.
