HALLETTSVILLE - The eighth annual Veterans Appreciation Day will be Sunday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hallettsville.

All veterans and their families are welcome to attend. The hall is at 321 U.S. Highway 77 S.

Konvicka said she expects about 1,000 veterans and family members to attend the event.

Doors open at 10 a.m. The colors will be posted at 11 a.m. and a memorial service will follow.
