CALHOUN COUNTY - At least one person is dead and six were sent to area hospitals with unknown injuries after a one-vehicle rollover on state Highway 35 early Sunday morning.

Dagoberto Camacho-Perez, 23, of Mexico, was ejected and pronounced dead on the scene when he overcorrected the 2005 Chevrolet pickup while driving north on state Highway 35 near milepost 618, according to a Department of Public Safety report.

The vehicle went into a side-skid and rolled over three times at 6:50 a.m., according to the report.

It was unknown why the Camacho-Perez overcorrected, however weather conditions early Sunday were foggy, according to the report.
