Crossroads Idol winner eliminated during first round of auditions

The winner of Crossroads Idol, Enoe Garcia, auditioned in front of American Idol producers Wednesday at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.

Garcia, 27, of Victoria, was one of the first 20 contestants to perform, but he was eliminated in the first round.

Garcia received a three-night stay in Austin and a jump to the front of the line for winning the Fox affiliate competition, which was held at the Victoria Mall Sunday.
