A woman was taken to the hospital after a collision at the intersection of East Nueces and Goldman streets about 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Carlota Hinojosa, of Victoria, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Goldman Street when she ran a stop sign and crashed into a Ford Expedition traveling eastbound on East Nueces Street, according to Victoria Police Department Officer Travis Hanson.
The driver of the Expedition, Nelda Flores, of Victoria, was taken by ambulance to DeTar Hospital Navarro where she was treated and released, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Both drivers and a 13-year-old passenger in the Malibu were wearing seatbelts, Hanson said.
The drivers' ages were not available Monday night.
Hinojosa was issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign.
