A sprawling restaurant at the top of Victoria's downtown Wells Fargo building, Olde Victoria at the Oak Room is known for its breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine.
The family-owned business has brought fine dining to the Crossroads since 1987. Owners Ferydoun, Farshad and Faramarz Darshad moved it to its current location in 2006.
Gazing out over northern Victoria, guests can't help but map out the city's streets, landmarks and historic homes, while enjoying the divine dishes the Darshad brothers have meticulously chosen for their menu.
Offering a lunch and dinner menu, the restaurant caters to many budgets.
From sandwiches and salads to pasta and steak, guests enjoy a diverse lunch menu.
When the day turns to evening, and the city lights twinkle below the wall of windows, an array of meats, seafood and pastas are available, including duck, mahi mahi, rack of lamb and veal parmesan.
The meal is topped off by an extensive wine selection and in-house dressings, made from a family recipe and can be specially ordered to take home.
Dinner is not the only use available of this elegant space. Accommodating up to 300, dining areas can be rented for parties, such as wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs and corporate events.
