Indie band Future of Forestry to perform in Ganado

San Diego-based indie rock band Future of Forestry will be stopping in Ganado for a performance on their Advent Christmas Tour this December.
The Christmas concert incorporates rock music with instrumentation, such as cello, violin, vibraphone, glockenspiel, harmonium and more, according to a news release. The band will be playing songs from their "Travel" series of albums, as well as favorite Christmas songs such as "Joy to the World," "O Holy Night" and "Little Drummer Boy."
The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the Ganado High School Auditorium. Tickets range in price from $5 to $25 and are available at www.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets are also available through Ganado High School band members, the Ganado Cafe and the Jackson County Chamber office. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Ganado High School band program, according to the news release.
