Ever wonder what it would be like to see the New York City Rockettes perform their famed Christmas show?
Well, wonder no more. This holiday season, the show is coming to Austin.
From Friday through Jan. 2, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular will be at Bass Concert Hall, according to www.radiocitychristmas.com. Featuring the legendary, classic numbers found in the New York productions, the show is 120 minutes of Christmas razzle-dazzle and includes the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers and the famed Living Nativity.
"Despite intense focus on the Radio City Rockettes in pre-show publicity, only half the show features the dance troupe.
Instead of a non-stop dance-a-thon, Christmas Spectacular winds up resembling a solid, wholesome, satisfying variety special, the kind Dick Clark might have hosted in the 1970s. Kids, grandparents and families will love it," Chris Silk, of Naples News in Ft. Myers, Fla., wrote of the show.
Tickets range in price from $22.50 to $66.50 and are available by calling 1-800-731-7469 or online at www.radiocitychristmas.com.
