For more than two years, the Nonprofit Network of the Golden Crescent has been meeting to share ideas, seek solutions and collaborate efforts.

The group originated in 2008 at the University of Houston-Victoria's Center for Non-Profit Leadership.

After that program ended at the college, the group was reorganized under the leadership of several local nonprofit agency representatives.

The quarterly meetings offer opportunities for leaders of these organizations to communicate face to face and take part in instructional programs and training.
