Thank you, Linda Kelly, for your article making readers aware of their responsibility in protecting our children. If any individual even suspects abuse, neglect or sexual exploitation of a child, it must be reported within 48 hours. You have committed a crime if you fail to do so. The burden of proof then lies with investigators of the Children's Protective Services.

To Mark, we don't want jobs or food stamps. We want to come and pay for our college tuition. You know things that you cannot afford for your kids to go to. So we can give our children the American dream. Don't worry about unemployment rising even more while we get higher paying jobs - higher than you because you didn't get to go to college.

I hope the Advocate doesn't start another series on illegal aliens on its front page. I mean, people well know what the Dream Act was. And that's why so many people got together and called their congressman and helped them vote it out. Now you want to run some sympathy stories about it to get people all boo-hooing about it.

I'm not willing to pay more. They're already overpriced - because I only watch about six or seven stations or channels the way it is.
