COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Furniture retailer and manufacturer American Signature Inc. has announced a partnership to develop home furnishings with Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James.
The Columbus-based company made the announcement Friday at the Oak Cliff Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas during 2010 NBA All-Star weekend activities.
The joint venture partnership is expected to launch this summer with youth furnishings and also includes LeBron's longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson and LRMR Marketing.
James says he'll be sharing his family's lifestyle with fans and other consumers.
American Signature's Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Schottenstein says James is a good fit because he has remained committed to his values throughout his success.
American Signature also remodeled the teen room at the Dallas club in support of James' annual NBA All-Star playground initiative.
