CUERO - A shooting in Cuero late Friday night left one man dead and four arrested.

The shooting happened in the 200 block of Togo Street.

Names and details were not available late Saturday, but two of the men will be charged with murder, said Cuero Police Chief Chris Hernandez.

"Right now that information is pretty much scattered," Hernandez said.

The 200 block of Togo Street is riddled in potholes, and lacks adequate street lighting.

When approached by an Advocate reporter, a group of men and women several houses from the crime scene tape were hesitant to comment.

They said they weren't going to talk and insinuated the reporter should leave

More details on the shooting will be available Monday, Hernandez said.
