Police identify 4 suspects connected to shooting death of 26-year-old Cuero man

CUERO - Police identified Sunday the four men arrested in connection with a Friday shooting.
Two of those arrested face murder charges in connection with the shooting in the 200 block of Togo Street:
Marquis Headley, 18, of Cuero was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Friday at Oaks Apartment, 501 North Terry St.
Javance Thomas, 20, of Cuero turned himself in to DeWitt County Sheriff's office at 10:31 p.m. Friday.
The victim was identified by a friend as 26-year-old Isaac Gamez of Cuero.
Two others were arrested in connection to the shooting.
Police initially sought the two for questioning, but arrested the men on outstanding warrants and illegal activities:
Michael Villarreal, 21, of Cuero was arrested at 10:20 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Clarence Street. Villarreal was arrested on 10 warrants charging him with multiple felonies and misdemeanors. He was also arrested on suspicion of evading arrest, unlawful carrying of a weapon and manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
Justin Mathis, 20, of Cuero, was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a firearm by a felon.
