Fourth of July holiday schedule for governmental offices and other services in the Victoria area includes:
Regular garbage and limb collection. The brush site and landfill near Bloomington will be open. The recycling center is closed on Mondays.
The zoo will be open regular business hours.
CITY AND COUNTY OFFICES
City of Victoria non-emergency city offices, Victoria City-County Health Department, Victoria County offices and Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission will be closed Monday. Victoria Transit will run. City, county and state emergency services will continue to operate.
Museum of Coastal Bend is closed Saturday. The Children's Discovery Museum is closed Sunday. The Nave is open Saturday and McNamara is closed.
The Victoria Public Library will be closed Monday. The Victoria College/University of Houston-Victoria Library will be closed Saturday through Monday.
Department of Public Safety driver's license office, Texas Department of Human Services, Workforce Solutions-Golden Crescent, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and University of Texas Medical Branch Women's Services Clinic will be open Monday.
U.S. POSTAL SERVICE
The post offices will be closed Monday.
First Convenience Bank will be open from open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday; Capitol One, American Bank, Wells Fargo, Prosperity, Trust Texas and First Victoria will be closed on Monday. Bank of America will be closed Sunday and Monday. IBC main branch will be closed Sunday. The H-E-B Plus and Rio Grande branches will be open for normal operating hours.
VISD administration office, Victoria College and University of Houston-Victoria will be closed Monday.
Advocate offices are closed on Sundays. A customer service representative will be available by phone only until 10 a.m. A reporter will be available by calling 361-374-1222. Monday will be regular business hours.
