GOLIAD - A walk through time and new exhibits will greet visitors to the newly restored Presidio LaBahia.
After a renovation that lasted more than three years, Presidio La Bahia will have a grand re-opening on Tuesday morning.
"It's very exciting," said Newton Warzecha, director of Presidio La Bahia.
The more than $500,000 project included a redesign of exhibits broken into five time periods. New artifacts will also be on display.
"We really have a first class museum telling an important story," said Warzecha, who expects 150 people at the program.
The luncheon will also include a special announcement.
"We have been working on a project for a long time," said Warzecha, who would not reveal further detail.
The event will be open to public free of charge.
