Industrial East Elementary School bike road-e-o winners named

VANDERBILT - Industrial East Elementary School held a Bicycle Road-E-O on May 21.

The Texas Department of Public Safety gave a bike safety talk, followed by a riding course and written exam, testing the 173 students' safety knowledge.

Overall winners were first place boy, Tyler Brunson, with a score of 112 out of 120 possible points; and first place girl, Kendall Williams, with a score of 114 points.

Class winners included: kindergarten, Ethan Brunson and Kylynne Kusak; first-grade, Arturo Maldonado and Baylee Maraggia; second-grade, Tyler Brunson and Kali Hayden; third-grade, Kevin Baez and Kendall Williams; fourth-grade, Jaron Hayden and Karagan Kusak; and fifth-grade, Tyler Eppolito and Jenna Gerdes.
