PORT LAVACA - Officials have located a suspect they believe robbed an IBC Bank branch Wednesday.
The name of the man, believed to be in his 30s, won't be released until they make an arrest.
"It's still early in the investigation, but we figure he's a very likely suspect," Police Chief John Stewart said.
Port Lavaca investigators are working with the FBI on the case, Stewart said. The man may possibly be linked to bank robberies in Corpus Christi and in Round Rock.
Investigators have not determined if the man was armed when he robbed the bank. The man did not claim to be armed during the robbery and witnesses said he was not carrying a weapon.
