A car crashed through the fence of Resurrection Cemetery about 6:35 p.m. Monday.
A Dodge Durango driven by a 28-year-old Victoria woman was southbound on Laurent Street when it failed to stop at a red light at the Mockingbird Lane intersection, according to Victoria Police Senior Patrol Officer, Jerry Sepulveda.
The Durango struck a Chevrolet TrailBlazer, driven by a 43-year-old Victoria woman, that was headed west on Mockingbird.
The collision in the middle of the intersection forced the TrailBlazer to break through the fence on the northeast corner of Resurrection Cemetery.
No gravesites appeared to be damaged.
Both drivers were conscious and taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro, where their condition is unknown as of Monday evening. A female passenger in the Durango was uninjured, according to Sepulveda.
All three women appeared to be wearing seatbelts, and airbags in both vehicles were deployed, said Sepulveda.
The wreck is still under investigation.
