CHEAPSIDE - These cowboys and cowgirls know how to party.

Taste of the Trail, a fundraiser for the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum in Cuero, is scheduled for 4:30 to 11 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at Bellevue Ranch.

The fifth Taste of the Trail - the event is held every two years - features a catered dinner by Don Strange of San Antonio, a live auction with popular auctioneer Joe Adams and a silent auction.

Live auction items include an antelope hunt at Moon Ranch near Van Horn, a Jackson Hole, Wyo. getaway and a romantic weekend in Fredericksburg, among many more items.

Among the silent auction items are tickets to the San Antonio Symphony and dinner at Biga's on the Banks and a Shiner Bock box of memorabilia.

The night also features music and dancing with The People's Choice Band of Austin.

Individual tickets are $125 each. Sponsorships are also available beginning at $250.
