CUERO - Chris Rybak, the "Accordion Cowboy," headlines this month's Cuero Country Opry Thursday night.
Rybak, who has performed since 1993, features a high-energy style using the world's first completely digital accordion.
He plays traditional Polka music as well as country, Gospel, Cajun and Tex-Mex.
Warming up for Rybak will be Ally Coscetti, an 11-year-old singer from Refugio, and Sally Carlson, a country vocalist from Geronimo.
The singers will be accompanied by the Chisholm Trail Swing Band.
Werner's Restaurant in Shiner will provide a catered beef tip dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the dinner and show or $5 for the show only.
The Cuero Country Opry is held the third Thursday each month at the Cuero VFW Hall, U.S. Highway 183 North. The Cuero Pilot Club sponsors the alcohol and smoke free event.
