Crane truck flips at intersection of Navarro and Loop 463

A crane truck owned by Lauger Companies flipped on its side at the intersection of N. Navarro Street and Loop 463 about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
No one - including the driver, Lawrence Small, 50, of Deltona, Fla. - was injured, said Officer Shane Wallace, of the Victoria Police Department.
One of the truck's six tires blew out, causing the truck to flip when it turned left onto the loop from southbound Navarro, Wallace said.
Eastbound traffic on the loop was diverted onto N. Navarro for an hour and a half while three wrecker crews from Allan's Wrecker Service worked to flip the truck upright.
"We can replace the truck," said Craig Lauger, owner of the construction company. "Just as long as nobody got hurt, we're all right."
Lauger said the truck, one of three in his metal building erector business, was returning to town from a six-month job in Waco.
"We just had an inspection report and had everything checked out, but stuff happens" Lauger said.
City workers took down two road signs outside Cimarron Junction to facilitate the wrecker trucks and were on standby in case the truck leaked any fuel.
